"Tristan" - 6 yrs, 16.2 hds - Athletic Sporthorse Friesian

Tristan is a beautiful Sporthorse Friesian with perfect uphill conformation. He moves with a big lofty stride and is therefore most suitable for riders with an established seat, securely posting the trot.

Tristan is a playful, curious character and would make an ideal young rider's horse, due to his interactive personality. Of course he would also bring a lot of joy to a more mature person appreciating a very personal horse. Tristan has been ridden out on trails, mostly in the company of other horses and he enjoys it ! He is however not the slow, lethargic type of old style baroque Friesian for riders without basic skills..

Tristan is an athletic young horse currently going at 1st level dressage with potential for 2nd-3rd level. A fun young Friesian for an active, intermediate rider enjoying future dressage challenges with an elegant equine friend!

Tristan is proven sound and sold with a full set of clean x-rays.

"Bravo fan Dilewinne" - 3 yrs, 16.3 hds - Beart 411 (Jasper!) X Adel 357

Bravo is a young Frieisan of stunning beauty! With 16.3 hds at age 3 he is already a tall and elegant performance horse! Bravo has a luxurious amount of long, floaing mane (which does not show in these photos.)

Bravo's exceptional feature is however clearly his movement! This is a 'ONCE IN A LIFETIME' mover in the Friesian world. In over 12 yrs of importing Friesians we only had 2 other comparable Friesians. Both highly successful show horses today!

Bravo moves 'up and out' with enormous freedom in his shoulder and equally enormous engagement of his rear legs. At this early tine in his training he could go into a Saddleseat direction also but at Windermere Farms he will of course be developed as a dressage competition horse.

Bravo also has the disposition requird for a future top show horse: he is alert and curious bit not spooky and remains always cooperative and level headed. Especially new things are easy to introduce to him.

His breeding is excellent ,setting the stage for a top performance horse: Jasper 366 lines with unbroken Ster Pref. lines on his dam's side. This horse is a trainer's dream but he will also make a great amateur mount due to his easy going disposition.

View a video of Bravo

The video shows him at baby-age, yet will render a good impression of the scope of Bravo's movement! As shown in the posted photos, he has matured tremendously since this video was taken. A new video under saddle will follow shortly.

Bravo is sold with a full set of clean x-rays.

"Kodiak" (alias Janus) Wander X Tijimme - 8 yrs, 15.3 hds SOLD

A Dream-Friesian with tons of hair, very versatile training & a darling personality! I was actually quite excited when I met him in person because he is truly beautiful and his mane was much, much longer and fuller than expected.

He was started late under saddle and trained from day 1 by a prof. dressage trainer. He therefore has very solid 1st level dressage basics. He was shown twice so far at 1st level and scored in the 70s! Kodiak is also drive trained and a video showing him also driving, will follow... He is also Western ridden and has been extensively ridden out on trails, is used to cattle, goes into deep water, etc.

Kodiak is overall simply the perfect amateur Friesian with great all-around training for anybody to have fun with. Yet, his movement also offers more show potential in the dressage arena.

His looks certainly make him a star in any exhibition or parade! Any true Friesian lover will be mesmerized with his enormous amount of beautiful hair. His mane reaches down below his knees and his tail is equally impressive. Kodiak is a Show- or Parade Friesian par excellence!

His personality is equally adorable: he is a very sweet, calm and personable horse that would make an ideal family horse!

"Ido" - 9 yrs, 17.1 hds Monte (Teunis 322) X Thomas SOLD

Ido is a Friesian that is not easy to find!

He is not only unusually tall - yet light and elegant - but also has amazing show records.

His records are complete since 2007 with over 65 successful starts in 1st through 3rd level. Ido has in 2010 achieved 8 national Sportpoints in the Dutch Performance registry KNHS at the Z1-4 dressage level. (Dutch USDF so to speak....) He carries the title "Sport" for this achievement in open shows, against German and Dutch Warmbloods in Europe!

Ido has also passed the Dutch Friesian Performance test with flying colors and over 70% (riding & driving!)

He is not only unusually tall but clearly also unusually athletic! His movement and conformation is naturally 'straight uphill' as the photos clearly show. He is an elastic mover, very comfortable to sit despite big movement. A horse that knows how to use its body with its hind end underneath himself and a balanced, spectacular canter!

Ido's personality is kind and getnle. A calm, confident horse with lots of experience! Yet, he is forward moving and eager to work with you.

This is a horse equally suited for an ambitious upper level dressage rider. At the same time he would make a confident, experienced schoolmaster for a more novice rider. An ideal horse to learn on and find an easy entry into the show-world!

He has an excellent pedigree with Teunis 322 at his grandshire who gave him his extraordinary height and stallion-like appearance.

On the ground he is a typical Friesian with an engaging, friendly and happy attitude.

Ido has a brand new - absolutely clean set of x-rays taken July 19th as well as a full clinical vet check from the same date. He was very recently imported.

This is a unique opportunity, especially for the lovers of tall, athletic Friesians!

Ido is a horse that simply offers peace of mind, and is a pure joy to ride. A horse with a high 'fun factor'!

"Nanne fan Bonne V" - 7 yrs, 16.2 hds SOLD

Nanne is a versatile Friesian gelding with storybook looks, and unusual dressage training!

He has almost 60" of full, luxurious mane, a gorgeous head and deep jet black color. He was raised by the director of the USEF. His training was performed = since he was 3 yrs old by 2 different, well known, FEI trainers in the L.A. area. Nanne has an excellent upbringing and solid 2nd level dressage training.

He was owned by an amateur rider and is very used to switching between schoolmaster tasks and more demanding training sessions. Nanne is flexible and patient, yet a forward moving Friesian! Nanne is very comfortable to sit and a pure joy to ride. He is ready to be shown 'tomorrow'.

His personality is priceless: he is a real clown in his interaction with people yet a reliable performer under saddle at any time independent from the level of his rider. This horse can be truthfully described as "cool, calm and collected" - and when we say collected we mean his personality and his unusual athletic ability for collection: Nanne is short coupled with a strong topline and excellent training. His walk would score an 8-10 which is rare for a Friesian! Naturally his canter is of equal quality as our photos clearly show. His trot is lofty with freedom of his shoulders.

Nanne is completely sound and sold with a new, full set of clean x-rays.

This is a gelding coming from a longterm client of mine. I am familiar with his history since he was 3 yrs old. Nanne is a horse that presents a rare opportunity to acquire a completely sound Friesian with top-looks and top-training and a non-questionable history!
